Sabrina and Jennifer discuss CBRS Community Based Rehab Services, aka “Play Therapy” and how your child may benefit from it.

The therapist comes into your home, or a community setting such as a daycare, library, or anywhere the child feels at home or comfortable.  CBRS therapy looks a lot like simply “playing”, but they are really working on the IFS (Individualized Family Service) plan.

We work on gross and fine motor, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioral, which depends on the child’s needs.  Sing songs, turn taking, color, shape sorters and many other specific activities.

The focus is on using things you already have at home to work on your child’s needs.  If you have any questions, please contact Therapy Playground for additional details!
