Jolene holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from New Mexico State University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Appalachian State University. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Jolene has been practicing speech therapy since 2016. Through her experiences, she has obtained specialized training in various areas of speech-language pathology. Jolene’s continuing education includes courses in the areas of pediatric feeding, auditory verbal therapy, PECS, tethered oral tissue and Beckman oral motor exercises. Additionally, Jolene completed Sandra Holtzman’s Orofacial Myology: From Basics to Habituation course in 2019 and is currently working on her QOM (Qualified Orofacial Myologist) certificate. Jolene has a strong passion for Orofacial Myology and loves to help her patients acquire harmony between oral and facial muscles, leading to improved speech and feeding skills.

Jolene is originally from New Mexico, but calls North Carolina her home after moving to Fayetteville in 2008. Jolene loves the east coast so much, her immediate family moved to the area to be close to her. Jolene and her husband are proud parents of one son and a four-legged fur baby.
