Amy is originally from Pennsylvania, but calls North Carolina her home after her father was stationed at Fort Bragg. She graduated in 2016 from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In 2018, she earned her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from East Carolina University. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Amy has diverse experience with both adults and children with a variety of diagnosis and in a variety of settings including, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, adult skilled facilities, preschool/daycare, early intervention and private outpatient clinics. Amy has been with Therapy Playground since 2018. During her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, baking, hiking, and spending time with her daughter Zuri, as well as the rest of her family and friends.
