Dauphine received her doctorate in occupational therapy from Washington University (WUOT) in St. Louis , Missouri in 2005. The WUOT program has been ranked as one of the top three schools in the country by US News & World Report magazine. Dauphine’s research focus was infants born premature, early intervention, and working with Hispanic families. Her fieldwork/clinical rotations included Therapeutic Horsemanship in St. Louis , Missouri , The Transitional Learning Center (adult brain injury recovery) in Galveston , Texas and The UNCH Center for Development and Learning in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Dauphine has always been passionate about infants and children. She received her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Southwest Missouri State University in 1996. Prior to attending graduate school she worked as “The Toy Lady” at Easter Seals of Missouri – Springfield. Dauphine also worked for seven years as the instructor / director of a therapeutic riding program. She is a registered level - certified instructor through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and a level-one YogaFit Instructor.
In her free time Dauphine loves to travel, rollerblade, walk her dogs, read, and enjoy time with family and good friends.
